It's me

A dog with a blog...

Toby!

Last week mom finally made my YAPPLE PIE!

Here's me watching mom make and bake my Yapple Pie (recipe from Your Pet Chef).

Your Pet Chef Recipe includes apple and pure pumpkin (mom didn't have fresh pumpkin)

Then stuff the apple with pumpkin.  She put lots because I luv it and the Vet said I can have extra pumpkin!

Waiting for it to cook

Yummmmmmmm Mom cooled it for a long time

Ps.... Thank you Katie for the treats.

Mom used them to bribe me to be good in the car.

I didn't chew anything.... except for gobbling up the yummy treats!

Dog with Blog

Today mom interviewed a Pet Chef!  I want one at my house

No offence to mom and dad...

They are great pet parents.....

But.

Can you imagine as a dog having your own chef to make you cool treats?

Lisa Hennessy started Your Pet Chef shared her love of making home cooked meals for her four legged family members with others. When her rough collie, Shelby, was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy their vet asked if Lisa would be willing to prepare special foods for Shelby that had been designed by a leading vet researcher on this disease. of course Lisa said yes then started cooking.  The recipe had stuff like tofu, spinach, peppers.  Lisa said the smelled like dirt
but not to Shelby... she gobbled it up like crazy!  Now Lisa has several books and is designing healthy pet treat recipes!

Check out the pawsome recipe for yapple pie that Lisa shared on Mom's PAWSitive Radio Show:

You can find more of Lisa's yummy recipes for us four legged family members here.

Order a copy of Lisa's book to share with your pet loving friends and family! There are pawsome recipes in there that your dog will get all goobery over. :)

Maybe you need to get some cool shaped dog biscuit shaped cookie cutters?

     YAPPY SHOPPING!

Zuke's is fuelling the love!

Did you get a chance to listen to mom interviewing Chris from Zuke's?

This is Chris from Zuke's with his best friends

You should take a listen.

They have great dog treats that are healthy! And super cool news...my doggie daycare sells them.

Yup!  Dogspaw in Edmonton. Totally can't wait until my next trip there!  I'll be sniffing those out for sure.

Zuke's started because of a dog! that's right, another dog named Zuke became the inspiration for a business (just like how I inspire mom to write books).  Not only did Zuke inspire the business and healthy treats, he also inspired a fund that helps dogs and cats with cancer.  Zuke's is saving lives.

Big bark out to Zuke's for all you do to make our world a better place

Fuel the Love!

A dog with a blog....that's me!

I think Zuke's motto Fuel the Love is pawsome!

Chris Meiering, from Zukes, is mom's guest on PAWsitive Radio on February 25.

Zuke's makes tasty and healthy treats for pets, can't wait for mom to buy some for me.

Love how Zuke's is helping dogs and cats... Chris is also the founder of The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund, a non-profit dedicated to helping families afford cancer treatment for their pets. www.dccfund.org
